Refund policy
What happens to money you have paid us for the platform — when it is refundable, when it is not, and how to ask.
01Application of this policy
In short: Try the platform free for 14 days. After that you buy plan validity in advance, nothing renews automatically, and we refund money we should not have taken.
1.1 This Refund Policy is issued by SKS Advertizing Private Limited (the "Company") and forms part of the Terms of Service at /terms (the "Terms"). Expressions defined in the Terms have the same meaning here.
1.2 It governs refunds of Fees paid by a Merchant to the Company for the Services. It does not govern refunds that a Merchant gives to its own customers (clause 10).
02Free trial
In short: No card is taken for the trial, so there is nothing to cancel or refund.
2.1 Every new Store receives a free trial of 14 days on the plan on which it was opened. No payment instrument is required to begin the trial. Accordingly, no sum is charged and none is refundable in respect of the trial.
03Nature of the purchase
In short: You buy a period of access, not a usage allowance. Buying early adds time; it never loses time.
3.1 A Merchant purchases Plan Validity for a fixed number of months, being the right to operate its Store on the Platform during that period. The Fees do not vary with the extent of use.
3.2 Where further Plan Validity is purchased while validity remains, the new period is added to the end of the existing period. Renewing early does not forfeit any day already paid for.
04No subscription; effect of expiry
In short: There is nothing to cancel. When validity ends the store keeps working for 7 days and is then paused. Your data is kept.
4.1 No subscription, standing instruction or mandate exists. A Merchant who does not wish to continue need only refrain from purchasing further Plan Validity.
4.2 On expiry of Plan Validity the Store continues to operate for 7 days. Thereafter the storefront is paused and the admin panel becomes read-only. Data remains available for export, and purchasing further Plan Validity reactivates the Store immediately.
05Cases in which a refund is made
In short: We refund in full when we charged you wrongly, or when you ask within seven days of paying and the platform is not working for you.
5.1 The Company shall refund the amount paid in full where:
- the Merchant was charged more than once for the same purchase;
- payment was debited but Plan Validity was not added to the Store;
- the Merchant was charged after the Store had been closed; or
- a fault on the Company's side rendered the Platform unusable for a material part of the period paid for and could not be remedied.
5.2 The Company shall also refund a purchase in full where the Merchant so requests in writing within seven days of making the payment and the Platform is not meeting the Merchant's needs.
5.3 Save as stated in this clause or as Applicable Law requires, Fees paid are not refundable, including where a Store is suspended for breach of the Terms.
06Manner and timing of refund
In short: Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually arrive within 5 to 7 working days.
6.1 An approved refund is paid to the original payment method and may not be redirected to another account. Once approved, a refund ordinarily reaches the Merchant within five to seven working days, depending on its bank.
6.2 On each refund the Company issues a refund note referable to the original invoice, so that the records of the Merchant and the Company correspond.
07Change of plan
In short: Upgrades apply immediately and credit your unused value. Downgrades apply when current validity ends, with no refund of the difference.
7.1 A move to a larger plan takes effect immediately, and the unused value of the Merchant's current Plan Validity is credited against the new purchase, so that only the difference is payable.
7.2 A move to a smaller plan takes effect when the current Plan Validity ends. The difference in price for the period already purchased is not refunded.
08How to request a refund; chargebacks
In short: Email us from your account address with the invoice number. Please write to us before raising a chargeback.
8.1 A request shall be made in writing to support@remavio.in from the email address registered on the account, stating the invoice number and the grounds. The Company shall communicate its decision, with reasons, by email.
8.2 A Merchant who considers a charge to be wrong shall write to the Company before raising a chargeback with its bank. A chargeback may result in suspension of the account until it is resolved, as provided in the Terms.
09Taxes
In short: Where we charge tax, a refund includes it.
9.1 Where tax was charged on a payment that is refunded, the refund includes that tax, and the refund note shall so state.
10Refunds to a Merchant's own customers
In short: That is your policy, on your store, paid through your own gateway.
10.1 This policy concerns only sums paid to the Company. Refunds to persons who purchase from a Store are the sole responsibility of the Merchant, are paid through the Merchant's own payment gateway, and are governed by the refund policy that the Merchant is required by the Terms to publish on its Store.
11Statutory rights
In short: Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you.
11.1 Nothing in this policy limits any right that a Merchant has under Indian law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
