How to raise a complaint
Write to the address above. Tell us the web address of the page or video you are complaining about, what is wrong with it, and how to reach you. If you are complaining about something that shows you (your body, a sexual act, someone pretending to be you, or an image of you that has been altered), say so in the first line and put URGENT in the subject. That complaint is on a 2-hour clock and we route it ahead of everything else.
You do not have to be signed in, and you do not have to know who runs the store. Every video we host carries a report control wherever it plays: in a store's shoppable video feed, on a product page, and in a video section of its home page. 2 of its reasons (sexual or nude content and child safety concern) withdraw the video from public view as soon as the report is made, before anyone here has looked at it. The other reasons are queued for a person to decide. Repeated reports can take a video out of the shared video feed while it is reviewed, but nothing is removed on a count of reports alone.
That control has no reason for someone pretending to be you, or for an image of you that has been altered. For those, write to the address above. It is open to anyone, it reaches us about anything on the platform rather than only a video, and it is the route that carries the 2-hour clock. A person reads it.
We acknowledge every complaint that reaches the officer above, we tell you what we decided, and we keep a record of it. A report sent from the video control is acknowledged on the spot rather than answered individually. It is recorded, and it is acted on. Removed content and the records about it are kept for 180 days so that a court or an investigating agency can still reach them (Rule 3(1)(g)).
How long we take
These are the windows the Rules set, as amended with effect from 20 February 2026. They run from when the complaint reaches us.
Content showing you in the nude, in a sexual act, impersonating you, or a morphed image of you
We respond in: 2 hours
Rule 3(2)(b)
A court order, or a written reasoned intimation from an authorised government officer (Joint Secretary or above, or DIG or above)
We respond in: 3 hours
Rule 3(1)(d)
A request to remove content prohibited by Rule 3(1)(b), including obscene, pornographic or paedophilic material
We respond in: 36 hours
Proviso to Rule 3(2)(a)(i)
Every other grievance
We respond in: Acknowledged in 24 hours, resolved in 7 days
Rule 3(2)(a)(i)
A demand letter from a private party is not “actual knowledge” and does not start the 3-hour clock in row two. That clock starts on a court order, or on a written reasoned intimation from an officer authorised for the purpose. Every complaint still gets the grievance treatment above.
If you disagree with our decision
You may appeal to a Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days of receiving our decision (Rule 3A(2)). The Committees were constituted by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and appeals are filed online at gac.gov.in. Appealing costs you nothing and does not affect any other remedy you have in law.
Grievance Appellate Committee orders
Rule 3A(7) requires us to comply with every order a Committee passes and to publish a report of that compliance here.
No Grievance Appellate Committee has passed an order against SKS Advertizing Private Limited to date. This section is the report for that period, and it is updated when that changes.
What we can and cannot do
We host the shop; the merchant sells the goods. We can take content down, limit who sees it, or close a store. We cannot cancel your order, refund you or chase a delivery. For any of those, contact the store you bought from. Their details are on their own site, and they are the only ones who can help.
For anything else, contact us, or read the privacy policy and the terms of service.
